Dez Bryant delivered a good game for the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day, but he had two regrets.

He fumbled again, and he should have gone north-south on a catch inside the 10-yard line in the fourth quarter.

The fumble, in the second quarter with the Cowboys running a two-minute drill, almost proved disastrous, and Bryant said he’s got to stop thinking so much about the ball.

“I’m being strictly straight up honest. I wasn’t Dez, the person who I am,” he said. “After that happened, I’m, ‘Forget this. I got to talk, I don’t care who’s looking. I’m going to be me. This is how I got to be.’ ”

Bryant said he is thinking too much about not fumbling.

“I can’t be watching and be worrying about everything else, worrying about, ‘OK, catching the ball and paying attention to the tuck.’ When I do that, that’s when I screw up. I just got to go out there and be Dez. I just got to be Dez.”

Being Dez also means running upfield, he said.

When he caught a quick out on second-and-goal from the 7-yard line in the fourth quarter, Bryant tried to juke and was tackled by cornerback Phillip Adams at the 3. Bryant said he should have run for the pylon.

“No doubt. No doubt. I screwed it up,” he said. “I don’t know why I didn’t keep attacking. I should have kept running outside, and I didn’t. I know I’m going to hear it from Coach Dooley. He’s going to keep rewinding. Coach Dooley’s all about north and south.”
