Running back DeMarco Murray and defensive end DeMarcus Ware sat out practice Wednesday, reinforcing the thought that they will miss Sunday’s game at Philadelphia.
Murray, who left the game last week because of a sprained left knee, did some running and said he was preparing to play, regardless. Ware, who suffered a quadriceps strain in the game, has never missed a game in his career.
The Cowboys also practiced without backup running back Lance Dunbar (foot), making it more likely the running game will be in the hands of rookie Joseph Randle and third-year veteran Phillip Tanner.
Defensive end George Selvie (shoulder) and Edgar Jones (groin) also missed practice.
Limited in practice were defensive tackle Jason Hatcher (neck) and linebacker DeVonte Holloman (neck).
Receivers Miles Austin (hamstring) and Dwayne Harris (hip) were listed as full participation in practice.
For the Eagles, starting left tackle Jason Peters (shoulder/finger) and backup running back Chris Polk (shoulder) did not practice.
