Linebacker Sean Lee missed 13 games his first three seasons in the NFL. He won't play Sunday against the Giants because of a hamstring injury. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones hopes it isn't any longer than that.

Lee, the team's leading tackler with 115, played only 17 of 84 snaps against the Saints before leaving with his injury. He was expected to miss 3-4 weeks, including last week during the bye, with a pulled muscle.

"Sean is Superman, and I mean it," Jones said Tuesday on his weekly radio show on 105.3 FM. "I remember back before the draft, ESPN did a special on him, and I think members of his team called him God. He has such a will that if anybody can come back sooner than what you ought to be coming back from, he can do it. He’s rehabbing at the most intense level you can, and if anybody can get back here in a couple of weeks, he can do it."

Lee missed only two games with a hamstring injury as a rookie. He also missed one game with a hand injury in 2011 and 10 games last year with a toe injury that required surgery.
