The Cowboys replaced Rob Ryan with Monte Kiffin after last season. Now, after only 13 games, speculation has started about Kiffin's job future.

Kiffin's defense is on pace to finish as the second-worst defense in NFL history, behind only the 2012 Saints. The Cowboys have allowed 5,549 yards, putting them on pace to allow 6,829. They have the fifth-, ninth- and third-rated offenses left.

Despite that, and in spite of what came across as critical comments of Kiffin's defense immediately after the game, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones threw his support behind Kiffin on Tuesday.

"He takes it personally," Jones said on his weekly radio show on KRLD-FM. "It’s hard on him. It’s very hard on him. … He’s just got the right attitude. Now, to be doing what we’re doing and to fix what we’re doing, there’s nobody I’d rather have than him and Rod Marinelli. And where we are today, to get this fixed over the next, if you would, week or four or five days … ain’t nobody I’d rather have to get it fixed. First of all, he knows what’s happening to us better than anyone. And if there are adjustments to be made, he’s the right man for the job.”
