Ronald Leary, who played in all 16 games last year at left guard, topped the Cowboys in performance-based pay last year.

He earned 307,104.43, the third-highest number in the league for that category. It reflects how high the Cowboys were on him when they signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis in 2012, hours after the draft. The Cowboys paid him their highest signing bonus for undrafted players that year.

Leary won the job in training camp last year but goes into this year penciled in as the starter.

The NFL’s highest performance totals belonged to Chicago Bears tackle Jordan Mills ($318,243.96) and Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict ($315,847.69).

Jeff Heath, also an undrafted player who wound up starting at safety because of injury, earned the second-most in performance pay on the Cowboys, picking up $247,273.09.

In addition to Leary and Heath, here are the Cowboys’ highest performance-pay earners in 2013:

DT Nick Hayden, $156,788.33

WR Terrance Williams, $153.719.19

DE George Selvie, $141,704.71

DE Kyle Wilber, $137,825.71

SS J.J. Wilcox, $134,132.05

TE James Hanna, $112,413.69

C Travis Frederick, $101,334.51

RB DeMarco Murray, $98,646.61
