Morris Claiborne woke up just after 1 a.m. Tuesday, feeling what was coming. It wasn't good.
The Cowboys cornerback has had migraines since high school. He has never missed a game because of it, but he missed at least one practice last year with a migraine, a minicamp practice in June and Tuesday's training camp practice.
"I haven’t really found that thing to deal with it. We just try to deal with it the best we can," Claiborne said Thursday. "Taking [migraine drug] Imitrex and just trying to lay down and hoping to get better. Sometimes, it’s worse than others."
Claiborne said the migraines come on without warning. Some last longer than others.
Back at practice Thursday, the second-year veteran hopes to play in the Hall of Fame Game on Sunday night. But even if he does, he knows it won't be much.
"I’m just going to enjoy everything, everything about the Hall of Fame Game," Claiborne said. "Hopefully we get a lot of playing time, but I know that’s probably not going to happen. I’m just going to go in and enjoy everything – every snap I do get, just try to take advantage of it and try to get better each and every play and hope the rookies do well."
