Orlando Scandrick feels good after surgery, not ruling himself out of Broncos game

FRISCO

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick calls himself day to day after undergoing successful surgery Monday night to have a plate inserted in his left hand to repair a fractured bone.

Scandrick, who suffered the injury in the second quarter of the 19-3 season opening victory against the New York Giants, has not ruled himself out of Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos.

It’s a pain tolerance issue at this point and he said Tuesday, “I feel good honestly.”

Again, he says he is day to day and plans to return by the Sept. 25 Monday night game against the Arizona Cardinals at the latest, if he can’t go against the Broncos.

Put it in a cast and play ball... may be hard to catch an INT, but its not like that has ever been a big part of his game anyway lol

In all seriousness-- as long as he isn't risking further injury, I hope he's out there. He is playing good ball at the moment

INT's are not a part of our defensive culture. Rather we like to warn QBs by dropping catchable INT's. Anthony Brown broke ranks on Sunday, and I don't what to think about it?

I'm thinking OScan should talk to Witten or even T Will about how to man the hell up.
So he should deal with pain for the rest of his life so people like you from a TV set can enjoy your Sunday? What position are fans in to tell a football player to man the hell up? Especially after seeing how these guys lives are by the time they get 50?

Brown hasn't been with the team long enough to understand the prevailing skill set and coaching for Dallas Safety's and Cornerbacks is to drop all catchable interceptions.

He has a broken bone in his hand. Getting a shot to kill the pain and wrapping in up ain't going to cause him pain the rest of his life. You hyping his injury as if it's life threading, while funny is also typical of those that support the sissyfication of the league... you should be so proud.

Once again.....what position are you in to tell someone that plays in the NFL for a living to man up and just kill the pain? Some of you guys can't even take a paper cut to the finger without screaming in pain.

I'm not sure why it bothers me that someone who's sitting on his bum is attempting to tell a athlete who bashes his head for a living to man up. Maybe these CTE reports are getting to me.

Well, as a combat veteran and and amputee, please allow me to beg your forgiveness for "sitting on my bum" and expressing my god given opinion. I guess I still haven't earned the right to do that.

Thank you for your services......

It's not like it's going to make him drop interceptions worse than he already does.
