Rookie linebacker DeVonte Holloman experienced soreness after Wednesday's practice, his first padded practice since Oct. 16. He was absent from practice Thursday, joining fellow linebackers Sean Lee (hamstring) and Justin Durant (hamstring) on the side.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said during Thursday's practice that Holloman might not play Sunday, but that he will not be placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Holloman played in the first six games, making four tackles, before a spinal contusion in the Oct. 20 game against the Eagles.

Kyle Wilber, whom the Cowboys moved from defensive end to linebacker last week, was working on the strongside with the first team in the base package. Dallas will sign Orie Lemon off the Cardinals' practice squad for added depth.

Lemon arrived at Valley Ranch, but the Cowboys will have to make a roster move before getting him on the practice field.
