Lol, some of the same people who were throwing in the towel and hoping we lose out a month ago are now bashing someone for disagreeing that the Cowboys are "dangerous". Please just make a stance and stick with it for at least half a season.

Have you ever a "very dangerous team" get absolutely run off the field four times in the regular season, then win a Super Bowl?

I'll give you this. I don't think there's an elite team in this league, so by that definition, all of the playoff teams will be dangerous.
I seriously don't get what your deal is here, erod. Dak said the right thing and has confidence in the team. Why the venom over a this?

We get it - you don't agree with his sentiment. It's really not a big deal. We'll be ok.

This team is so irritating. They talk alot and haven't won anything. You're not a dangerous team if you need help from three or four teams to even make it. This playoff talk is ridiculous. Focus on beating Seattle. That's what has to happen first and then see what happens next week.

The irony is, the only player that isn't "very dangerous" is Dak Prescott himself. If he was playing at a high level, they damn sure would be dangerous. He's been poor, to put it kindly.

The Giants in 2007 were run off the field by Green Bay and Minnesota, and lost to us by 11 and Washington by 12. They also won seven games by less than a touchdown. But they found their defense and running game and won the Super Bowl.

Unfortunately, I don't think our defense is ready/able to perform up to that level and the running game hasn't been a problem (although clearly there is a difference in this offense having Elliott back there than Morris, who put up great numbers in Elliott's absence but didn't draw the same kind of attention).

Truly dangerous teams don't have to cross their fingers.
Just rewatched the Oakland game last night and the only threat I see is if Zeke changes most everything on our offense.

Did the Denver Broncos annihilate this team before the injuries and suspensions?
Has Tom brady and the Pats every won a game in September in Mile High? Ill wait for the stats on that. Think he has won 2-8+ games there. So please. Just stop. Your incessant need to be negative and knock down a team that you apparently support is getting old.

Yeah, the offense is just brutal to watch.

I didn't think there was any way the defense could surpass the offense on this team, but it's happened. Every yard through the air feels like 10.

This team failed to score in double figures three weeks in a row.

I just call it what it is.

There is something (so much different) than the way he looks in the pocket from last year. Guess the opposing DCoordinators now have a template. I feel it's really up to our coaches to figure it out to remedy the situation. I mean going back through the film game by game, play by play from last year to this. Figure out a scheme or how to out-scheme the defenses he's currently struggling with, OR to identify if Dak is just having a terrible case of sophomore slump.

There are some really good teams in the NFC playoffs this year. I'm not sure how it would play out if we make it. But it would be great to watch :D.

Prescott: Crossing fingers things fall Cowboys way because they're 'dangerous'

Dak

Dak Prescott is feeling positive vibes for the surging Dallas Cowboys.

If by "dangerous" he means they are a threat to my mental and emotional well-being, then yes, they are a dangerous team,,,

I kid of course, with Zeke back and the secondary getting better they could present a challenge to the NFC slate of teams,,, will they get a chance tough?

I think there's more to it than that. I think Dak is auditioning right now.

It's not like he's some 7-year veteran or first-round pick with big money invested in him. He's been here one season longer than Cooper Rush. Two seasons longer than anyone else in the coming draft.

If DAK PRESCOTT is a big part of the problem, then the quarterback competition needs to be wide open next year between him and Rush, and the first-round pick next year could be in play.

That is, if this franchise is truly interested in figuring out this cluster as quickly as possible.

Right, and last season when we were blowing teams out you never found anything negative to say? Sure man.

What gets my attention is when the Cowboys play good football against elite teams in every phase of the game. The rest is just fodder.

I'm interested in Super Bowl contention. I grew up with it. This ain't what it looks like.

You're living in in a dream world if you think Prescott doesn't have job security. That's not the way Jerry operates. He can't evaluate talent. Neither can his son. They don't know what a good player looks like. All they know is they won 13 games with this guy last year. If you're expecting a deeper evaluation than that you overestimate our front office. QB will not be on the list of needs anytime soon. It won't even be considered.

So sit back and enjoy our future. A QB who can't throw the football.

With Wentz in the division and the Giants drafting a blue chipper in April.

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

I agree if he lights it up these the next two weeks and they go 10-6. Jerry will justify.

But if he continues throwing these boomerangs all over the place, it's getting hard to ignore. The general public is already restless with Dak. He needs to show more.

Especially with a popular backup sitting there. Everybody wants their next Romo miracle.

I do realize I'm hoping against hope that Dak will rise up and become elite, or that the team would go QB in the first round.
