Per coach Jason Garret, rookie center Travis Frederick was responsible for two sacks by Chiefs nose guard Dontari Poe. One was an old-fashioned physical beating. The other was breakdown in communication, allowing an unblocked Poe a free run at quarterback Tony Romo.
“He physically got beat on the one,” Garrett said, “and the other one there was a miscommunication between him and the guard. Ultimately, he’s responsible for making sure that communication is right. One was more physical, the other was more communication and a mental error.”
