I believe Dez is waiting to sign the vet minimum for a year to get his revenge.

I'm not sure you can make a definitive statement about whether it was Dak or Dez even if Dez lights it up this year. The circumstances would be completely different, none the least of which is it appears Dez will be highly, highly motivated to prove the Cowboys jobbed him. He wouldn't have had that same motivation here - complacency was more the case.
