I think he can have success as a pass rusher here. From what I have seen from him he's just scratching the surface on what he can do as a pass rusher on the football field. I think he'd be a solid second round pick.

Rather get nate shepard in round 3. He broke his hand at the Senior Bowl practices...but not before dominating the olinemen he faced. He was unblockable. Great value pick and his hand might be healed up enough to see some playing time week one. He can play all the positions along the dline. VERSATILE. The kid from Oklahoma got killed on the inside this week.UNDERSIZED.

okoronkwo is way to much of a tweener, he is only 6'1" where to you play him. He is the size of a box safety but wants to play defensive line; hard pass on this guy. I wouldn't take him until the 6th, might pass then too.

MOBILE, ALA.

The Dallas Cowboys are always looking to bolster their pass rush, and they’re doing their due diligence on this year’s class.

That includes Oklahoma’s Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, a Houston native who will play in Saturday’s Senior Bowl. Okoronkwo said he met with Cowboys’ southwest area scout Sam Garza before practices.

“He told me everything he wanted to see this week,” Okoronkwo said. “He wanted to see power moves and continue to see speed around the edge. He just wanted to see me in the run game show up a little bit more and I feel like I did all of that.”

Okoronkwo had a standout college career with the Sooners, coming on strong his final two seasons. He had nine sacks and 12 tackles for loss as a junior and eight sacks and 17.5 tackles for loss this past season.

I love this kid’s motor - it’s a Viper V-10. Grab him and stick him at SLB ... his quicks are off the chart.

Really like the player, but envisioning him as a 4-3 End is hard to project. He could probably be a good pass rush specialist, but where do you begin the value that role in the draft? 3rd round? I think he gets drafted higher than that, some 3/4 team will snatch him up.

Why wouldn't he want to play for a team that rewards mediocrity and does not demand discipline ?

Exactly. 22 years of terrible to mediocre football and there is no end in sight. We have become the Okland Raiders after Al Davis went off the deep end.
