Tony Romo's back was tight last week, though he never appeared on the team's injury report. It got tighter in the fourth quarter when he tripped over Rob Jackson’s foot.
Romo completed a 9-yard pass to Miles Austin on the play and limped back to the huddle in obvious pain.
“For whatever reason, the twist or whatever it was, it definitely made it not feel comfortable,” said Romo, who went 17-of-27 for 226 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. “…It’s completely in a different spot than the back stuff I had last year so that’s a good sign.”
It is unrelated to the cyst he had removed last spring, and it won't keep him out Sunday against the Eagles.
"He's kind of getting some special treatment for it," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said. "But it kind of was going down his leg there a little bit. But you saw it. It didn’t keep him from playing and won’t keep him from playing."
