Not really.

It was to help the other 52 guys win.

Where do these writers get these oddball themes.?

Sure..

the trade was also meant to help Zeke deal with the 8-9 man fronts.

It was also done for the defense to increase TOP and score more points to let them play with leads for a change.

Also for the PK not have to try 53 yard kicks to win games.

Should I go on?

the cowboys don't have many players that can score consistently. The fans would rather watch an emotional receiver who can score than these fg fests we've been watching. It's plain and simple. They ought to buy some insurance by resigning Dez for this year until they can find some replacement for his scoring production. Yeah he's lost a step and drops balls but he does score tds and may at least give fans something to cheer for. All we have is a lousy bunch of tes who can't produce and a bunch of possession receivers who can't score either and Amari still isn't enough

The committee approach works great when you're scheming guys open who can score consistently but we're trying to run the same exact offense with guys like Swaim who can't move the chains or score but doesn't come off the field. He's not a deep threat, a chain mover, or a scoring threat but he is the constant in our losing te led scheme. Build our offense around tes when we get a Gronk or Kelce not when we have a bunch of Jags who can't even produce to the washed up 82 level. Our tes are bunk. Bring in some rbs and wrs who can produce on paper until we get a potent te that's not a practice squad level player

I really don't see Cooper doing much to help the team, even if he's a really talented receiver, because we've consistently seen that the o-line can't protect Dak in a heavy rush. Cowboys have possession and slot receivers, who can get open in 2-3 seconds, which is about all the time Dak has, when the defense "pins their ears back" and says "we're getting to Prescott"....

Yeah there's no Blitz packages under Garrett for 10 yrs. It's the same formation on 1st down as it is 3rd down. We need 2 rb formations and 4 wr sets to beat the blitz but that's been all on Dak and Romo and it's never worked for either. The long developing plays don't work cuz all the d has to do is cover beasely. 10 yrs is enough.

Troy never had a problem beating the Blitz. It's too bad Jones couldn't have adopted a winning Qb like Troy instead of the Redhead

Troy used to throw wr screens early and often so defenses didn't blitz. He'd hand it to Emmitt on 3rd and 10. We invite the Blitz because we never punish our opponents enough to fear blitzing.

One thing you have to love about Dak is that he is fearless enough to try to make something happen on blitz plays. Romo used to curl up in a ball on the ground.

He got hit and picked up and slammed several times against Washington but he kept going and at least never gave up.

If we ever can learn to beat the blitz we will have a pretty good team. Can Amari help us beat the Blitz? If not nothing will change
