How much do you think the value of naming rights increases now that SB XLV has been awarded to the new stadium in Arlington?

The Mets got a record 400 million over 20 years for Citi Field. It's hard to imagine the Boys won't get more, maybe a lot more for the rights to be connected with the biggest name in sports:starspin . I think we all realize there's a prety good chance we will b looking at Exxon Mobile stadium.

I say 20 years at 35 million per. That takes care of the cost jerry will incur over and above what Arlington kicks in.

To answer the original question, I'd say at least 10% but maybe as much as 25% if JJ can convince them he can deliver the superbowl every 6-7 years. I'd say the price just went up $2-5 million a year for the life of the deal.

Sure hope our new name is not Exxon Mobile. Exxon is synamous with the mess which their ship's captain caused in Alaskan waters. Aslo Exxon Mobile is just as tacky as Colts new stadium -- Lucas Oil. I could live with Exxon Mobile's Texas Stadium or Exxon Mobile's Cowboy Stadium but not just Exxon Mobile. I would prefer Pepsi's Cowboy Stadium or something similar.

Didn't the Cardinals new stadium get named after they won the right to host SB XLII? The University of Phoenix paid $155 mil over 20 years. I expect it to be more than that because we're the Cowboys, but $1 billion??? Doubtful.

No doubt the vallue went up. Getting the big 12 championship games helps also. Should he get a final 4, even more.

Just a guess, but I'll say $10 mil a year is what JJ gets.
