This was my first time down to the game and we were back in the Enzone when Eli called the timeout and then false started and the place was rocking. Everything I ever read was AT&T stadium had weak home atmosphere but it was amazing! Just some positivity in the sea of negative

That's because the people doing the yapping about this topic all the time are never actually in the stadium.

The crowd did a great job in the Giants game, but they're typically very bad. It's usually nothing like that. Even watching from home you can tell when it's loud enough to be a bother to the visiting team. Unfortunately last year we trailed in all 16 games and playing from behind it's harder to get the crowd to stay in the game.

there was something to cheer about, we had the lead the whole game. The team usually falls behind early, which takes the crowd out of the game.

From my experience, Cowboys fans tend to get fairly lathered up for the NFC East games, particularly against the Giants. Last night was about as loud as I've heard it there, but there have been other good showings in some of the prime-time games. But stick in a Tennessee, or a St. Louis or a Tampa Bay as the opponent, and there's only a moderate amount of energy.

I know the reasons why BUT it never ceases to amaze me how the "fans" of the most popular team in the most popular sport in a football crazy state can be so passive sometimes

The stadium was loud, but the amount of fairweather fans that were sitting down and just watching were too many to count. Think about if 1 out of every 2 of those fans are substituted with noisy fans and you have a fantastic home-field advantage

My throat is hamburger from cheering last night. Just got home from Texas. That place was rockin at times. The video board is getting used more and more to get the crowd into it with much less ads than in the past. Made my year to watch Giants fans finally leaving frustrated after a game in the new stadium.

Maybe it's because the roof was closed. I think having it open is ******** anyway. When I went to last years Giants game it was open and it didn't make any sense how big the openings at the top were. Keep it closed and lock the opponents in the death pit! Lol

The crowd did seem loud on TV, which is great! I don't buy the argument that the Boys being down in a game is a reason to be quiet. Maybe if you're getting blown out I can see it, but if the home team is playing in a close game and trying to come back, they need even more support from the crowd.

agree with this, they are not seattle crowd but not that as portrayed on CZ.

What are the odds that Paul Allen has 30,000 robots chained up in the dungeons of CenturyLink Field making noise?
