A preview of the Niners' new stadium. Notice the mural of "The Catch."

The new stadium is a georgous piece of architecture, ... one of a kind! State of the art!

But I guess I'm just too old-fashioned, I like football played outdoors on grass, dirt and mud, .. with sunshine and rain pouring down, and the wind playing a part as well.

This will only add to the glitzy, pretty boy reputation of the Cowboys here is Squeeler land.

Especially if we continue with our post-season blues.

I would rather win in the Cotton Bowl, than to continue to lose in the nicest stadium in the NFL.

Last season really hurt my heart, ... we need to win.

I feel the same way about football playing outside, but at least you can close the roof. The side glass on the endzones will slide open. It will be one of those stadiums that while it's sort of inside, it's got an outside feel to it as well.

I think its the best of both worlds. Have to think that a building that costs over $1 billion needs to be adaptable to weather conditions. If not, there would be no future Final Four, NBA All-Star game, or any other planned events. I really do feel its perfect.

If concerts, Soccer, the Final Four and NBA All-Star games are what we are looking at, .. then, yes it is.

As I look at those pictures again one thing keeps coming to my mind. How many security guards would it take to get me out of the stadium once the game was over?

A nice friendly group hug from Buehler, Folk and McBriar should do the trick.

Well I know NBA All-Star Game and Super Bowl is confirmed, and last I knew they were working on the Final Four but it should definitely happen.

Did you guys see that special on A&E or maybe it was another channel? The seats have a certain space in between each.. but for huge events, you can actually unscrew the seats, slide them closer together, and add extra seats.

I'm not sure if there was anything that Jerry and co. didn't think about when designing/coming up with ideas for this place.

I can't wait to go there one day.

Man, the fans are gonna be right up to the field! It's gonna be LOUD!!!

It better be... Remember when Eli told the media that playing at Texas Stadium wasn't really like playing a road game... quiet crowd and all

Yeah, I definitely remember that. I think the fans will be louder just because we will have a much better "TEAM" than last year.

I only wish I was living back in Texas :-( Can't wait to get back home, not that I don't love serving in Europe!!!

I just hope that beautiful new stadium becomes a place that teams dread having to play in. And I hope the Cowboy fans make it a homefield advantage for the Cowboys.
