They should carry a camera thing on them so they don't have to go under the tent, they can go off to a point where the players aren't allowed near them on the field, get together watch it and make the determinationViewers have the benefit of advanced technology to be able to see how bad a call is as botched.
Why not use the same technology to get the call right in the first place?
It doesn’t have to be a five minute delay with a refs head under a tarp, just an extra ref in the booth that can overturn egregious calls quickly.
They ask older folks to run and keep up with elite athletes, make a split second decision and get it right.
Once they got into bed with gambling, I’m surprised this hasn’t become a bigger subject.
Unfortunately, this sounds like it's just for the refs, not the customer. Though, that's more on the broadcasters than the NFL (not that they couldn't require it as part of their contracts).Wow, finally!
