Stafford?

I would almost prefer to see Dak throw some picks over standing in the pocket pissing himself because he is too afraid to make a mistake.

I agree.....you can't make progress if you don't even try! We've seen him throw the ball down field his rookie year. Over the span of 3 years this should have gotten better but it got worse.

Hey if we are going to use the Jets-Lions game to project for our team then I’ll say I am jealous of the Jets right now.

They might have a legit franchise QB.

Stafford's always having these games as well and he's a seasoned vet.
So did Brett Favre. Stafford has an absolute gun and he takes chances bc he HAS TO. Dak has a mediocre arm at best. Doesnt take chances. Thats not gotta cut it.

Trade for FitzMagic, straight up.

And we're killing Dak right now? For his first game of the season? I mean damn talking about throwing up on yourself
Guess who intercepted the first pass off Matthew Stafford? Morris Claiborne. Claiborne has 1 interception and 2 passes defensed tonight. Not a bad night for him.

I am still trying to figure out what your point is here other than possibly an attempt to suggest people are being too critical of the Cowboys and Dak.

Chill out about a third year guy and let him develop, especially when a seasoned vet of Stafford's caliber, looked like donkey dooo tonight.

Where do I sign up for Stafford right now? He is exactly what we need to take the pressure off of Zeke and get hose defenses out of their 8 man fronts.

So basically circle the wagons any way possible?

So if someone else looks bad automatically means that Dak isn't. Dak deserves more of a shot before we move on, but that kinda logic is flawed.

He is. Last year going into the Atlanta game, he was the league's 9th-rated passer on a team that would have been 7-1 if the defense had held up their end. Then come the 8 sacks and the flashbacks to his senior year at Miss St., and now every game that he gets consistent pressure brings back his PTSD for the world to see.

What was the #1 reason people defended Garrett's decision to keep Dak as the starter even when he played poorly and Romo was healthy? "You don't want to replace a young player after a bad game because of what it would do to his fragile psyche."
as I said in another thread dak may never get over that atlanta game last season its possible it is something he wont over come

So bc Stafford has a horrendous game..that makes dak less bad that he really is?

I'm not understanding the logic here

No, let t

That's not what I said, give the young qb develop, when you have a season vet like Stafford look like*****

Me too, but he would be crucified for the picks just like everything else.

it's interesting how a lot of players who were considered busts or washed up here rejuvenate their careers elsewhere

What does Stafford have to do with Dak? So it’s okay for our QB to suck as long as other QBs suck more? I hope you don’t have kids. All they have to do is tell you their friends are doing it and they will get away with anything.
There's a reckoning w reality the Dakpologists haven't accepted yet. I get it he was the next big hope.

If he is this fragile he won't make it

I think Claiborne could have been a decent player for us if he could have stayed healthy. He was just always hurt. Missed 33 games in 5 years with us.

I was one during and after his rookie year but I’ve seen enough now. You can’t fix his flaws and he certainly can’t run an offense that requires precision, timing, and accuracy.
