I couldn't believe that when I saw it. Bad look for a someone, who by all accounts, is a good guy. You learn a lot about people in those moments of need.

Didn't look like he knew it was serious. Either way, it looked bad.
He has a pretty much unanimous and very long reputation as good dude and specifically someone who has helped many in need, so that was weird.

Not going to judge though. The rest of a world full of people who have never once had a second of odd behavior in their entire life will be busy doing that.

I was riding on a Mardi Gras “Float” once inthe Endymion Parade. They are about as high up as that stage. We’d been drinking all day and our float had come to a stop and, as always, we were throwing beads to the massive crowd.
A buddy fell from the float and we found it amusing for a second…as in wow…he’s hammered.
Luckily the crowd caught him and he was fine.
But could've been worse.

Stafford was drunk out of his mind. There wasn’t much he could do that wouldn’t make the situation worse.

I heard on the radio that the parade was a joke. Very few people in attendance. Very short route.
