Anyone think teams are waiting for someone to make the first move?

The lesser CBs are waiting on Nnamdi to set the market, but maybe Nnamdi is waiting to boost his own payday by letting some lesser guys sign first.

I think it's gonna be a frenzy once the first domino falls.

could be. but ike taylor signed yesterday, and im hearing jonathon joseph is in talks with philly.

After securing Holmes the Jets are now said to be going hard after Asomugha, and there is mutual interest so it looks like he could be a Jet. per NFL Network

It might more be the case of the teams that want him had to take care of critical business first; then looked at what they had left to spend.

Man, that would be a drag. I think Joseph is a pretty good CB.

I don't know how we beat them week 1. Revis and Asomugha? Geez.

Apparently, the guy is very interested in Theater. If he signs with NY, he is close to Broadway and so that's a draw for him. Ripley's Believe It Or Not right?

i think so, Mortenson said he was in Detroit yesterday, could be an indicator since he has already said he will take less to go to a contender...i think it would be ridiculous for us to go after him but i also think he fits the profile for one of Garret Top's 'character' players....

They better not forget to settle up with Jackson, first....or he's going to be beyond a little peaved. He's on a rookie contract up among league leaders for a couple of seasons now.

Theater? Then he definitly is NOT a Garrett guy.

What ever happened to the DRC-Kolb trade? They want to add another corner?

It's the football equivalent of LeBron teaming up with Wade.

What a unexpected draw for an NFL player.

I think the Cards started shopping around for Orton.

According to NFLN, Philly was praying for a bidding war between AZ and SEA but it didn't happen. Now the Cards are looking at Orton but I think Miami has also been mentioned as an Orton spot.

It's same guy who drives a 98 Maxima

Does he really?

Edit:

I just heard on ESPN that Kyle Orton drives a Prius. Being totally serious.

Kolb is more attractive since you know that Orton will never be more than what he has shown. Kolb still has potential.

Yep. ESPN wrote a pretty nice piece on him last year I wish I could find it

edit: here it is
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4464629

Of course he's a little peculiar. He has rapper Ice Cube waiting for an autograph, the Beatles locked into his iPod and Al Davis on the brain. He doesn't even know how to treat himself. Nnamdi Asomugha signs a $45.3 million contract, one that makes him the highest-paid defensive back in NFL history, and as far as anyone can tell, doesn't spend a dime on bling. He still drives an old, pristinely kept 1997 Nissan Maxima. Ain't broke, Asomugha says, don't fix it. Write that down. It might be the only time the Cal-Berkeley grad, who earned his business management degree in four years, uses poor grammar.

The kid could've been anything, his friends say, a politician, an actor, a pianist. He rubbed elbows with former President Bill Clinton last spring in Austin, Texas, speaking at the Clinton Global Initiative University and stressing the importance of global service and student activism. Asomugha meets with underprivileged kids in Oakland every week, encouraging them to stay in school, eat right and follow their dreams.
