Stanback..

You actually have to give developmental receivers time to, you know, develop.

Bunch of premature evaluators we got here.

I see Stanback is now slower than the advertised 4.58.

That looks like a 4.7, if I'm reading that correctly.

the 4.58 was at his pro day on a "fast track"
false advertising

:laugh1:

I've been supporting stanback for a while now. This is his time to show us what He has, and I really hope He does. He has alot of skill and talent...If it all pans out with him He will be our #1 for sure.

I know I'm stretching it here but That's how much talent that dude has..

GO STANBACK!!!!!!!!!!!!:starspin

I think he may have chronic shoulder problem(s).

I thought they said last year that his shoulder could pop out any time, even after surgery.

It was something to that effect. I don't think there's much he can do about it.

I just don't see him remaining healthy, unfortunately.

That's why I don't think he makes it out of TC or preseason. I like him but he's too fragile.

Either do I. I don't like him though. Nothing personal, but outside of a few good straightline returns and sprints down the field, he's done squat. He looked like crap running routes in the preseason. He apparently has good hands according to most reports, but we've yet to see that. His fumble last year didn't do much to support that notion.

He's had time to do SOMETHING. He hasn't. Time for a new project, one that can at least stay healthy long enough to evaluate him. Stanback can't even do that.

This guy really needs to step it up. Period! This is his shining moment. He needs to show that he can be durable in camp, in pre-season, and into the regular season. He can open up so much for this offense with that blazing speed! This guy is very talented...

Please Isiah, if you're out there do it for me... Stay in on piece bro.

Bleu, you got to let this kid go. Or put him in a "WILDCAT" formation.

We need WR's that can play now.

do i hear a 2nd for stanback as our newest whippin boy?
Typical, it's always on to the next guy mentality; never happy unless he/she is sticking it to someone. What's the personality make-up of persons like that? It's hard to understand.......

Can we just move him to the practice squad and draft a player?

He can't run routes either. You can't just train most people to play a top notch position in the NFL unless they've done it previously, it works in some cases.

As far as I'm concerned, remove all of your stupid mistakes Jerry and get back to quality traditional picks.

Geez, Stanback has only had one full season to learn the transition...but as it is the offseason and some people are grumpy we decide he is not worth it.
nothing like flippant judgements from back seat drivers.

No premature judgment here. I'm rooting for him. He showed me enough flashes early last year to get me on board. Hopefully he comes through. (even if he has to duct tape those shoulders together) :)

I can't decide who looked worse in their 2nd season, Stanback or Austin. Given that Austin had played the position for years, I'd give him the edge.

AND- He has something many obviously don't. HEART. Maybe that's why those who know have been patient with him transitioning position.

Oh he has a ton of heart. Always playing through injuries.

He's more fragile than a schoolgirl's feelings. His alleged "talent" better surface this year or it's adios.
