For me George Carlin. by a mile and some of Bill Burr.
George was very intellectual and some people were not up to his level to understand

levels of rage/anger. Not my thing.

Lot of great comics listed here. I may have missed these but others I have enjoyed include Gabriel Iglesias, Ron White, Bill Engvall, Adam Ferrara, Steve Byrne. Probably more that I have forgot.

Saw Chris Gethard and Brian Posehn at a local comedy club. They were pretty funny.
