Star Players and Coaches

IMHO it is very important to have your star players back up and support the coaches. If your team captains support you coaches it at least has a chance to work. If they tear the coaches down behind their backs it will never work. IMHO I am excited about Dak, Ceedee, Parsons, Diggs, Cooper, Gallup , Wilson and even Layton. Guys like D Law and Jaylon and Zeke have been tearing this down from the inside. I feel like a minor clean up is all that is needed to make a big change. The sad thing is the minor clean up never happens.

You guys think that Jaylon D Law and Zeke are actively telling other players to smarten up and get with the program when they are goofing off? No chance. Actively trying to make sure that the other players are working as hard as they can to implement what the coaches are asking? No chance. They are selfish players who throw coaches under the bus as excuses when things do not do their way. They make is possible for the Xavier Woods type to exist. JAGs who think it is OK to publicly question the coaching staff.

What you need are player like Irvin who are the voice of the coaches when the coaches are not around. Jimmy could count on Irvin to back him up.
