Start Rico, let Pollard be in the role he was in previously

I think we need to give Rico a chance to start, see how he does. I love his quick feet, and he's very shifty for a guy his size. We know and understand that Jerry paid Pollard 10 million, but it seems like Pollard was better when he's in the role he was in for all these years. Come in for how many plays (maybe he gets more due to depth that's fine of course). Let him come in with fresh legs, see if he can make some of those explosive plays we've come to know him to do. Please give your thoughts....

Rico is a much harder runner than Pollard. He always seems to get yards after contact. Pollard does not look the same this year. That burst is gone and he is not breaking away from anyone.

At the same time they are not blocking well on those runs to the outside, on either side of the line. I don't think they can get the passing game going if they cannot run the football better.

Absolutely not.

Pollard is our 2nd best offensive weapon.

Asking less of him is just beyond dumb at this point.

If you want the offense to get better then start asking more of your Quarterback who wanted the big contract.

Agree, but 2nd best? Who is 1st, CeeDee? I know Pollard hasn't gone off as much this year, but just about all the high scoring games last year had big plays from Pollard. I think he's threat #1. He's the other thing that Big Mac didn't account for. When he changed the offense, he thought that the defense could hold their ground every game, and that Pollard would have the same numbers as the #1 back. Neither one has happened as well as he probably hoped, so starting to be panic time.

I would give it some time. Let's see what happens after the starting offensive line plays together for a couple of weeks, it's not as if there's been a lot of room to run for any back.

I think we need a veteran starting against a weak team like the chargers, we can experiment some other day.
Pollard is good for a 150 on Monday night.
if hes not, we have bigger issues.

I don't think he is mentally and physically right yet. He seems hesitant.

That is one thing that has me optimistic. But don't count on it. If nothing else, Tyron is good for another few weeks of injuries somewhere here soon.

between the tackles he is. I don't want pollard taking a beating inside and fumbling.
Pollard is good between the tackles. Better than Dowdle too.

There is always these false narrative surrounding Pollard because you all want him to be a scat back but he’s not. He does it all.

don't get me wrong, Dowdle can't stay healthy and has his own issues fumbling. But can Pollard take the beating inside? Im not so sure.

If you notice… Every player on this offense is underperforming.

Cramming Rico Dowdle up the middle isn’t the fix.

It’s Dak Prescott not being absolutely mediocre to awful.
