don't get me wrong, Dowdle can't stay healthy and has his own issues fumbling. But can Pollard take the beating inside? Im not so sure.

Christian Mccafrey can’t take a beating.

We need explosive plays. Not more less explosive plays.

I think we need to give Rico a chance to start, see how he does. I love his quick feet, and he's very shifty for a guy his size. We know and understand that Jerry paid Pollard 10 million, but it seems like Pollard was better when he's in the role he was in for all these years. Come in for how many plays (maybe he gets more due to depth that's fine of course). Let him come in with fresh legs, see if he can make some of those explosive plays we've come to know him to do. Please give your thoughts....
Lot of us said that about Pollard since he has been here. He is a change of pace back. He should not and never have been your featured back.

If you notice… Every player on this offense is underperforming.

Cramming Rico Dowdle up the middle isn’t the fix.

It’s Dak Prescott not being absolutely mediocre to awful.
at the same time, Dak has the ability to throw for 400 yards and light teams up. We've seen it. I just wish he was consistent. MM needs 2 figure this out.

That’s because you were clueless about Pollard and clearly still are.

The one thing that’s clear to me about fans on this forum is most of you are absolutely clueless about what teams do in the run game and think RBs are still used like it’s 1995.

Well I thought you would learn over the past 2 1/2 seasons with him being one of the NFLs best RBs but clearly you didn’t.

You want more of those Zeke do nothing throw aways.

Pollard is being asked to do what nearly all NFL RBs are asked to do.

You guys are just clueless is all.

His production has almost nothing to do with him.

Same with Lamb.

btw, he looked fine last week and all season. In fact, all year last year. Now in Carloina, he was always hurt.

He’s been injury prone his entire career just like most RBs.

Zeke’s not injury prone but the problem is he’s not good at football anymore.

Dallas needs more Pollard not less.

Its not his fault the Quarterback stinks.

Also, we’ve played really good run defenses so what do you expect?

Ahh. no I dont miss Zeke. In fact, u misread me. Im saying we need toughness and juice in the middle. Do we have that guy on roster? Because we haven't really seen it yet. Last year 20 was great inside when called on, but to ask him to be the man all the sudden, with no lead blocker, coming off a major injury? That seems foolish.

yes and I am saying we need to use all our backs more but a bit differently. Id like to see Hunter Luepke used more. Hes a bigger body.

Pollards more than fine. Hes a top 7 NFL RB. We’re lucky to have him.

The Cowboys aren’t about to start a back ahead of a back they’re paying just over $10 million to this season. Pollard isn’t what you want as a lead back which I’ve been telling everyone for years, but this is the boat we’re in. The Cowboys will squeeze him for whatever he’s got and allow him to test free agency after the season. He’s not likely to be back next season which will leave us with a big need at RB.
