Kitna is just terrible. This time those picks WERE his fault, no more excuses with tipped passes. The floater he threw to Miles couldn't have been worse. He overthrew Miles on another deep ball that would've gone for a touchdown. The sacks were his fualt, he hung on to the ball forever, and he has ZERO mobility.

Please, I don't know why Kitna is still on this team.

Last week I was against it. This week? Absolutely. Get him in there.

i get sense Dallas isnt impressed with mcgee. I suspect they will ride Kitna until someone knocks him out...then go to mcgee. McGee looks mentally soft to me....the absolute last thing this team needs. McGee looks afraid to throw down field and seems ok with 3 and out....3 and out.

If you have questions about McGee, now is the chance to answer them. We'll never get a better opportunity than the second half of this season.

Kitna is 38 and this is his last stop. We already know what he can do and he's not in this for the long haul. We need to find out if McGee should be on this team or not and draft accordingly.

Not starting McGee simply means he can't be a QB in this league and the coaches know it. That means we sign a journeyman QB and draft somebody in 2011 (how high or low yet to be determined).

From what I saw in college, McGee was anything but mentally soft

I've been against it but don't care at this point.

I thought the rest of the team deserved more but they don't.

They're quitters so might as well raise that white flag high and wave it around.

you are delusional....the problem is with the offensive line, no running game, what part of that aren't you seeing.....quarterback isn't the problem and McGee is NO NOWERE ready to be the starting QB, especially behind this pathetic O-line

McGee will play against the Giants. Kitna is unlikely to survive the game with that line in front of him and RBs who can't pick up a blitz.:bang2:

But why make McGee suffer for it? He was brought in as a project, and the team planned on giving him time to develop, so why throw him to the wolves where he has no chance to have any success? That only hurts McGee, and if down the road, McGee has a chance to become an NFL caliber QB, why would we want to jeopardize that by throwing him to the wolves and have him torn to shreds. Now is the time for smart decisions, panic-driven ones or ones motivated by lack of interest. I'm all for making changes, but their needs to be solid reasoning behind the changes.

No point - he will only get killed

It is sickening that when Tony went down, the teams heart went with him

It is clear that he makes us better than we actually are

I agree with you about McGee.

I only partially agree about Romo. He is our best hope at QB, no doubt, but it's not as if the team were playing well or winning before he got hurt.

Dead on!!!

I say wait. To be honest, I have doubts whether McGee will be a solid backup player. But that doesn't mean you need to find out now. I think you don't throw players out without the chance of success.

I will be suprised if Kitna makes it through the season anyway, so we will probably see him eventually. He is not like a Sam Bradford who your franchise is tied to hiim and he can learn on the job. I think McGee if he ever develops into a backup is still a couple years away. Add backup QB as a need next year.

Is quincy out of jail yet?

Maybe we should just start bringing back all our old QBs between Aikman and Romo. Each QB gets 1 week and if he wins Jerry gives him a PSL. WOuld make for some fun entertainment, which is all I really care about anymore with this season.

Look at this perfect release.

I'm ready and willing.

We were not winning but at least we were making a game of it and had strong chances to win - These last few weeks we have been battered in every way possible. Dont forget we were beating the giants until romo went down

McGee would be worse and Dez would be lucky to catch 10 more passes the rest of the season with him under center. Dez is the only reason to keep watching the Cowboys and his nice rookie season that could end with him being named rookie of the year will come to an end with McGee running for his life and taking sacks all day. He's not near ready to take on the playoff contenders that would be pinning their ears back ready to take him out. If the Cowboys want to throw him in the final 2 games of the season fine but we still have 8 games left and you don't throw a project in at QB with half the season remaining.
