I would send a message to the veterans on this team this week.

I would waive Barron and bring up Travis Bright. Bring up Brewster to fill the spot left by Jason Williams

OL = Free, Bright, Costa, Brewster, & Young

Backfield = Choice

Start Dez

Start McGee

DL = Lissemore, Brent, & Ratliff

LB = Butler, James, Lee, & Ware

S = McCray & Church

Yes, I'm serious. If the veterans want their jobs back tell them to take them back.

Amen!!!

I would love to see what Bright, Young, Church, and Lee have to offer, in particular.

Might as well. Thats actually a lineup I wouldn't mind cheering for.

Sure, why not. At least those guys probably don't feel " entitled ". Let's see what we have there. I would play McGee at some point as well.

man you really hate Kitna to do that to him!

At least they'll give effort. Thats better than what the other group has done.

If I was Kitna i'd rather have 5 Olinemen in front of me playing hard than 5 going through the motions.

I guarantee they'd come out and fight ten times harder than the bunch we've got in there now.

If these guys have any brains, they must realize that next years inevitable coaching change will put basically ALL of the young guys on the bubble. Hence, now would be a good time to hustle. The veterans are more likely to be complacent and think to themselves that they'll get a job anywhere since they had one here.

Gronkowski gave plenty of effort and still got Romo killed.

That being said, why not, I'm not particularly attached to Kitna anyway. :D

Hell, we have an open spot, bring up Brewster too.

OL = Free, Bright, Costa, Brewster, & Young

Like the idea of going young. But I don't know what Kitna has done to deserve to be benched.

I'd go young around Kitna if for only one reason. And that's that poor play from the QB spot just kills the whole team. See 2nd and 3rd Q's of the Giants game.

If you play McGee and he's terrible, you won't get good work in with all the other youngsters you're playing.

Perhaps I'd look to play McGee for part of the game.

Now that would be a lineup worth watching.

What has he done to deserve to start? Like I said, I would send a messag here.

Bench Witten and Ware too if you have to. If we had 4 CBs I would sit Newman and Jenkins. Start Hurd over Austin.

Whatever it takes to send the message.

I wouldn't play McGee until the Thanksgiving game at least and thats assuming you think he is ready to take NFL snaps.

If he isn't ready to take NFL snaps then there is no reason to put him on the field even in a down year.

This may or not be important, but do we currently have a QB on the practice squad?

Just wondering in case Kitna and McGee ended up getting hurt. Considering our luck this year....
