After reading through comments from posters on this board and comments from our fellow cowboys players its more than obvious that the problem with the dallas cowboys is deeper than just performance. Newmans comments about lackluster performance from some players and from the LBOH post about only a handful of players really taking the loss to heart its obvious this team has deeper issues than what appeared 2-3 weeks ago. So my question to you guys is who are some starters on this team that HAVE to be replaced in order of weakness to this team? At the same time I would like to get a realistic list going and now a bunch of posts with a bunch of diff names-so lets compile a list of players that CAN be replaced in 1 offseason. More than likely 10 starters isnt realistic-so maybe everyones top 3-4 maybe even 5 will do.

Rivera - he is the only guy on my - "have to be replaced list"

We need to get someone here who can motivate these players !

Bring on Jim Burt!!

Ill start w/ the Defense since I believe this is where our true problems lay.

Bradie James
Chris Canty
Keith Davis

Offense - I can only come up w/ one maybe 2 names

Marco Rivera

I dont know why but for some reason. I like Kyle Kosier. The guy just seems to get the job done. Marco seems to be bull-rushed alot and pushed around. He just seems like he no longer has the upper body strength to hold off of the younger DL.

Ill start w/ these names and reserve to add a couple of more after seeing other posts. =)

D

We aren't far off. A vocal leader on D and a bit of youth on the OL is all we need.

Henry - No speed. Gives up too much space and can't close anymore.

Glenn - Age and size finally caught him. Gives up the big play.

who do you replace them with? lets just cut everyone and assume the team will find better options immediately. Neither of those players is at the bottom of the performance pile......

Our cornerbacks have probably been our best, most consistent position group this season, and you want to get rid of two of them?

well it sounds great to just start cutting people but it does'nt work that way. you can't cut james you just signed him to an extension.
rivera can be easily replaced with a draft pick.as for any others i would try to upgrade before i just started cutting guys

You'll hate me for saying it, but the way RW has played the last few weeks he has absolutely no business being out there.

Rivera-cut him
bring in competition for:
Adams
Canty
James
Watkins

Rivera is the 1st name that comes to mind.

Auf wiedersehen to Owens.

I'd be interested in seeing Henry move to FS if a viable CB can be obtained (not holding my breath on this one).

LOLB - please

And, although it is farther down the list, I wouldn't be opposed to trying to upgrade the starting RB (and not with MBIII).

I'd like to see if McQuistan can make a push next year, probably too early for him to start, but perhaps he can send Fabini packing.

Completely agree, unless he is hurt I say we trade him.
