So who will start on the DL come the first game, amidst a frenzy of Philly fanatics circling the Boys like a pack of sharks?

This crazy soap opera is sickening to Cowboy fans, who are hungry for a winning culture and a playoff bound team. I am sure Micah's agent is not an attorney, who has ethical duties to act in good faith with all his work.

Divisiveness in Frisco is detrimental to the team and making Super Bowl goal oriented fans depressed.

So who will start on the DL come the first game, amidst a plethora Cowboys' haters, national media all clamoring to make fun of this storied franchise, and Eagle players intending to deliver a humiliation?

Neeland at LDE, Osa at DT3, Mazi by default at DT1, and D. EZ at RDE or Sam Williams?

Yeah the self imposed soap opera is depressing. But if you sift through the fog of the Jones powered smoke machine, the truth is (in my view) we have a mediocre roster.

Hate to say it but if I’m being as completely objective as I can be, this team has major holes in its roster. The DT and RB positions are full of below average players in areas where we knew going into the season were problems.

We are not only not better at those positions, we maybe searching trades and the waiver wire before the opening night in Philly.

I will happily be wrong if this team is more than I see. But I can’t pretend we are something we aren’t.

Jerry's 'smoke machine' is being spread by media sources. Who asked you to change an ounce? :starspin:

As to who...all defensive linemen suited will play.

No sense in being upset! As long as Dak is the QB this team isn't winning anything regardless of if Parsons plays or sits out. Dak sucks and is injury prone and Parsons career is just wasted watching Dak choke on the playoffs. Dak is so uninspiring that it becomes contagious and the whole team plays like crap. So who cares if Parsons sits. He could walk away from the game completely healthy and never have to work another day of his life. Invest the money he's made and let it work for him.

Honestly don't think it matters. History shows when Micah doesn't play our defense is bottom of the league bad.

That said, I'm not convinced Micah is giving up a $1+ million game check. He wasn't willing to eat a $50k fine for missing training camp.

It's the same road kill when he's there
The problem Houston faces in his attempt to make the 53-man roster is the fact that the Cowboys are loaded on the edge, with Marshawn Kneeland, Tyrus Wheat, and Payton Turner taking up slots on the depth chart on the left side, and Micah Parsons (if he suits up, of course), Dante Fowler Jr., Sam Williams, and second-round rookie Donovan Ezeiruaku on the right.

Now educate me, smart guy... :flagwave:

This! It's a smokescreen to distract us from the fact that our roster is mid. Obviously in the NFL with attrition and injury...we could be division winners or 0-17...but we'd have to hit on every draft pick/free agent for this team to have a shot. And I don't think we have...although Jerry would have us believe that Jaydon Blue is gonna carry us to a SB. It ain't happening.
