Here is the main thing that I have with Stephen Jones, 2 years ago after chip kelly put the eagles in dire straights, the eagles got under the cap with top level general manager involvement, got the eagles under the cap, just went to the super bowl, and now they just traded for a top defensive end, and supposedly mike wallace a top speed wr. While what are the cowboys doing under stephen jones guiding, just sitting here, letting our division foes get above us in trades and free agent signings, while we just sit here, same old thing.

The patriots are an infinitely better run organization than the Cowboys are. They made a slew of trades last year and again were in the SB

couple of things:

1) Cowboys are cap strapped after all the championships they've won the last 5-6 years.
2) often, when Jerry tries to make a big splash, he just winds up wetting himself

Plenty of time to restructure a contract as needed.
