Some people at work asked this and I don't know the answer.
Here is the scenario:
First and 10 at the 20 going in to score. The QB throw a 12 yard pass to receiver A. Receiver A laterals to receiver B and receiver B runs 12 yards and scores a TD.
How do the stats break down?
Does the QB get credit for a 12 yard pass or a 20 yard pass? Does he get a TD pass?
What about receiver A? Does he get a 12 yard reception? Since he caught a 12 yard pass but lateraled it back two yards does he get 10 yards?
Does receiver B get credit for a reception or run?
