I tried looking this up but couldn't find it.

Let's say from the last 10 years..

what's the record for teams that won a road game and played a road game the following week?

I have to imagine that it's pretty poor..

Even more so a Divisional road game followed by a road game.

Ya that's why I'm not even worried over this loss. They spilled their hearts out in a divisional road game last week..followed up by another road game against a desperate solid team.

We played against Philly like we HAD to win the game, and we did...

GB played us like they HAD to win the game, and they did...

Agree Slate, I think we're a relatively young team and we can't out-talent teams so it was the perfect storm.

I just hate Mike McCarthy. I think he's a shady clown and kinda just a ******y person. That's what hurts the most.

I know. Lets find some angle to make ourselves feel good about what might have been the worst offensive performance in the league today.

Losing a hard fought game is nothing to be ashamed of.

Losing a game where no one showed up is. Top to bottom, the offense today was ****ing atrocious. I can't remember a more pathetic outing than what was out there today.

Dallas wouldn't have beaten Oakland, KC, Tampa or Detroit with that sort of offensive effort.

Its not the result that pisses me off, its how they got there. I know I have said that before and maybe its just me but I think the path is a lot more telling than the destination.

Ted Thompson is a punk *** ***** too.

I don't like Aaron Rodgers either, no real reason - just looks like the kinda guy that I'd get really hammered and pick a fight with.

Dom Capers has our number though, he called a great game. I'm shocked that we weren't as prepared for his version of the 3-4, considering we see it every week.

This stat would be skewed badly Slate. Teams that are really bad teams will skew this stat. You should make it about .500 or better teams or something. It would be more telling because those are teams that theoretically have a chance to win when it counts.

Hyperbole is so much more intelligent right?

Nobody feels "good" about losing. He posted a legitimate observation on why it might have happened. Yes we looked horrible, but back to back road games are tough in the NFL.

As far as the path goes, look at the Cardinals last year.

You're overreacting. You obviously have not watched the Commanders, the Eagles vs. Oakland, Oakland vs. anybody, or the Rams this season.

Really bad teams probably don't win road games very often, let alone when they have another road game right after it.

But as far as the original question, I doubt there's much to it. Teams that win a road game probably are about as likely to win a road game the next week (if they play a road game the next week) as they are to win a road game against that opponent at any other point of the season. Maybe slightly more, since that might be a time of the season when they're playing well, given that they won their previous game.
