But if we don't beat the skins this weekend, they play TB and the winner will play us. I don't want to play them twice in 3 weeks..

Heres to beating the skins this week!

I thought Washington would be the 6th seed and forced to play the 3rd seed which is Seattle. NY would play Tampa as the 5th seed playing the 4th seed which is Tampa?

Correct NY is the #5 and TB is the #4. This wont change so they're playing each other. If Wash gets in they will travel to Seattle.

That is what I though. Seattle plays alt this weekend and TB plays Carolina. Both teams should win. If that is the case then Seattle remains the 3rd seed and Tampa would be the 4th seed

You guys are right.

6 @ 3
5 @ 4

Winner of 6 @ 3 = @ GB
Winner of 5 @ 4 = @ DAL

Skins fans are pretty much placing themselves in the NFC championship game already. Beating us twice in 3 weeks and stomping Seattle. They say they were a few dropped passes away from beating GB in Lambau during the season and many of them are talking SB.

It really does not matter. If Dallas is as good as we believe then who we play should not be a big deal. We have faced NFC east teams in the playoffs before and won. I think how we play means more than who we play.

I thought the #1 seed always plays the lowest seed? So if #6 beats #3, wouldn't we play #6?

I am not afraid of seeing the Deadskins in the playoffs. When the Boys play them on Sunday, they will have to show a lot more and risk injuries to starters while the Boys give reps to backups. We will learn a lot more about them then vice versa. Plus, we will have home field advantage for the rematch.

The Skins would play Seattle. We almost certainly will get the winner of the TB - NY Giants game.

that's not true. if washington beats seattle they come to Dallas. we play the lowest remaining seed in the divisional round.

Yes. The highest seed (Cowboys) always plays the lowest remaining seed.

Yes we will face the lowest seed in the divisional round. If Washington makes it to post season and beat the Seahawks then we would face the skins.

Still not correct. The lowest remaining seed plays Dallas. Not the winner of 5 vs. 4. If the 6 seed wins we would play them, not Green Bay.

Our only possible opponents are Tampa Bay (#4 seed), New York (#5 seed), and whoever claims the #6 seed (Commanders, Vikings, Saints). Green Bay's only possible opponents are Seattle (#3 seed), Tampa Bay (#4 seed), and New York (#5 seed). Green Bay cannot play the #6 seed in the divisional round, nor can we play Seattle.
