I think he did it on purpose...if you look, he hesitated, looked around, pointed and threw it.

Yep, Witt and Troy both looked at each other and laughed about that. Then Witt leaned over to Roger and said something to him. I know he knew what he was doing there and so did Troy and Witt IMO.
 
What really got me was the way he spread the fingers of his left hand as he released the ball, just like back in the day.

This isn't really a thread that will spur a lot of interesting discussion, but did everyone notice how smoothly and effortlessly a 76 year old Roger Staubach threw the football into the crowd? He's still the man.
Yes. He put a little heat on it. If I'm coaching a flag football team, he is my starting QB. Dude can still sling it!
 
Besides his awesome throw it was funny seeing how small he was compared to Troy and Jason. Easy to forget how big Troy was. Those monster hands of his.

Yeah, that struck me too. Of course I’m sure at 76 Roger has shrunk some, but he was never close to Troy’s size.
