The coaches didn’t take the previous 3 weeks off. They were hurt by injuries (missing 4 probowlers vs the Jets) and turnovers on offense.
Defensively I will say there seemed to be a more aggressive approach, but that’s also because the Eagles had no deep threat. The run D has been a lot better the last two weeks with Woods back at NT. Coaches scheme is based off personnel available and what you’re facing.
It’s 10% scheme and 90% execution. Every team knows every play you’re going to run. It’s about if you can outrun and catch your opponent.
Here’s a tricky thing for those who haven’t been around pro athletes. Not all of them are as intellectually adept as others so you wouldn’t want to put in 20 new plays in 1 week. The missed assignments woulld be a disaster
