By PFF’s Standards Amari Cooper ranks as the 2nd best WR in the NFL basically tied with Tyreek Hill for 1st since the margin between is so small.

WR AMARI COOPER, DALLAS COWBOYS – 90.2
Cooper has been the best NFL receiver not named Tyreek Hill this season. The former ‘Bama product ranks second behind in Hill in PFF receiving grade (90.3) and yards per route run (3.02). Impressive toe-tapping snags and filthy route-running ability will do that.

Got Cooper for a late 1st round pick, now I think his Price Tag may be 2 1st round picks or more.

Side note: Jamal Adams is balling out too, highest rated player currently on the Jets.

S JAMAL ADAMS, NEW YORK JETS – 89.8

After robbing Daniel Jones of the football in broad daylight and returning it for a touchdown on Sunday, Adams enters Week 11 ranked third among safeties in overall grade (89.8). Perhaps more impressively, Adams has earned a 92.0 pass-rush grade across 50 pass-rush snaps this season, by far the best mark among qualifiers at his position.

How can Amari be the steal of the decade if he’s losing to a player that cost his team less than a first rounder?

are you being facetious?

Seeing some of our players doing well it's okay but if it doesn't translate to better team success it doesn't mean much, for this fan anyway.

They are good players but PFF grades are meaningless.

They would have to grade over 50 thousand player snaps per week to have accurate grades.

They release their grades in less than 24 hours.

They hire people to "grade film" that have no experience in football.

I love the Cooper trade. But if all it translates into is the same results we’ve been getting the last two decades plus, IMO it diminishes it as “trade of the decade”
Once we get some changes in coaching, hopefully you’ll feel different. It was a fantastic trade. Just remember what this team looked liked prior to this trade.

As I said, I love the trade. Just saying it can’t be called the “trade of the decade” if it doesn’t move us any closer to playoff success than the last 24 years.

still can't believe we got that guy and only had to give up 1 pick.
usually its a 1st and something else.
but it only cost us 1 pick.
unreal.

I think it will in time.
look at the difference it made in #4...his confidence alone is thru the roof.
I credit 19 for that.
and Im not sure we beat seattle in the wild card round w/out Coop.
now we gotta few more play-off hurdles to clear but...in time...I think they will.
If Im wrong.....I'll own it.

Not for me! As much as I’d like to see better team success I can also take the positives and truly enjoy watching his quality play

Steal of the century is Garrett, he's the next Tom Landry!!!!

And a total chump move if they don't get him signed.

This means Cooper has Jerry by the short hairs, and will be overpaid.

You know it. As I said before, Cooper is in the same position Zeke was in that the team desperately needs him so his bargaining power is every bit as strong as Zeke's. Just hope Cabo is not in the cards but if I'm Cooper's agent, I'd be prepping him for what's necessary. All's fair in love and contract negotiations.
