Undrafted Terence Steele cashed in majorly under the NFL’s performance-based pay system. Having played in 85.6% of the snaps in 2020, he earned a team-high $487,135. The rest of the top 10: Dalton Schultz - $412,911 Brandon Knight - $389,758 Donovan Wilson - $386,617 Michael Gallup - $386,481 Connor Williams - $382,238 Darian Thompson - $288,143 Dorance Armstrong - $260,498 Connor McGovern - $247,760 Trevon Diggs - $238,898

Not sure why this guy is getting hate. He went from street FA to starting in the NFL and did an admirable job considering. I'd have no problem keeping him and Knight as backups.
3rd stringers. Not back ups. If we have to play them again for any amount of time, that might mean our oline is injured again.

Steele did a great job considering the circumstances.

He clearly was overmatched at times and wasn't ready for what they asked of him.

That's the part that concerns me.

The staff is willing to play a guy at RT that clearly wasn't ready.....yet dudes like Anae and Robinson get almost zero chance.

Are those two behind a guy like Steele at this stage, or is the staff just that bad at evaluating this?

Remember they chose Steele to start the opener instead of Knight, and were also reluctant to play Wilson early in the season.
