I agree running at him is the strategy, but he isn't the huge run liability some make him out to be.

I have been saying this about steele since 2023. he has no lateral mobility and gets beat by counter moves every time. he sucks. but Jerry can't let him go, swallow the dead cap and pay for the same position twice. damn it, I paid a contract and I am going to see it to the end!

I simply want something to dispel the insulting "LT" or "next coming of Reggie White" talk. I want the "Talker" quieted, similar to his previous game with Cleveland. That would be a good start for me.

Guyton will need just as much help - really weak at the tackles

I saw a chart on X showing "island" win rate, which means when OT is let alone to block rather than getting help from a TE or RB. I was surprised to see Guyton gets help less often than Steele and has a higher "island" win rate. Of course it is one chart on X and only covers 3 games.

For perspective the chart also showed the Eagles two OTs rarely get help and still have high win rates. In other words, the Cowboys have a long way to got before their OL is considered top of the league.

Nah. Steele needs to do the old Spanish Ole' and allow Micah to come untouched right towards Dak. Do it early in the game. Set Micah up for this...

He’ll have Rashan Gary. He lines up on left defensive end

He leads the NFL with 4.5 sacks, largely because of Micah’s presence on the other side.

Last year he had 7.5 and his career high was 9.0.
