This can't possibly be right
We all know that whatever the players say is correct and should be taken at face value
Garrett supporters like @Idgit have used bland cliched quotes from players like Witten and Lee to argue that he's a great coach now conveniently we should look at "body language" and not believe what the players say?
The players are saying they didn't overlook the Jags and the HC had them ready then it must be true

They were already talking about facing the Pats before the game against JAX even started.

Unfortunately, Ramsey already opened his big mouth saying they’re going to win the SB.

IMO, people are seeing sloppy play as overlooking their opponent. Tomlin simply does not pay enough attention to details and does not keep the players on task. PITT didn't overlook anyone, they're just not that good.

Pittsburgh was a good team this year. They did overlook Jax. They wanted Pats. That’s what Pitt’s focus was all season after getting beat in AFC Championship game last season in Foxboro.

Just ask LeVeon Bell. He was tweeting that they beat Jax then go on to play their nemesis. Tomlin said a few weeks back that the Steelers were good enough to get to, and win this year’s SB.

They were looking way ahead before focusing on what was on their plate last week—a team that already handled the Stealers 30-9 in Pittsburgh week 5. Odd!

Ben was 1-3 all-time against #1 ranked defenses last week. Now he’s 1-4.

I simply disagree, that's all. JAX played a good game. They didn't win because PITT was looking ahead, they won because they played well.
