Steeler Fans

I have mentioned this once or twice I live In Pittsburgh and almost everyone I know is a steelers fan.

Tho Yinzers hate the cowboys as you all know.

They are hoping and praying the Cowboys don't win the superbowl and tie them for most superbowl wins all time. This means a lot to steeler fans and they see the cowboys as a major threat. They love saying sixburgh and we got 6 ect...

For me as a fan there is more to this season than just winning it all... It will mean a lot more to shut these steeler fans up should we take it all home.

One game at a time Minny next... however we are fans not players and can hope and dream.

All three cities are underrepresented in sports championship and have positive reasons to support them, and are fun to watch. Brees, Tomlinson, Warner. Dallas is obviously only threat to Steelers historic dominance.

Believe me I have a deep seated hatred for the Steelers like no other. Their fans think we represent everything wrong for the NFL. I kinda like it considering that they also bag on us for having cheerleaders. Ehh still better looking than any cow that comes out of that dump of a city. Ask the Steelers fans if they are Pirates fans lol. I guarentee you they root for the Yankees or Red Sox in that town.

When the Steelers were playing for their 6th Lombardi Trophy, most were rooting for them not to obtain it.

At the end of the day, the players on the field will determine the outcome.

I was at the bar last weekend, next to me were three friends - an Eagles fan, a Commanders fan, and a Steelers fan. Towards the end of the night, the Steelers fan, who was actually pretty funny, decided to see if there were any Steelers fans in the bar, so he tossed out a "How bout them Steelers? 6 Rings!" and pointed to his hat. So I just said "Oh yeah, who are they playing tomorrow?" lol He laughed it off he was a good sport.

i have dealt with this since I was 5 and started rooting for Dallas against pittsburgh in 1978 SB.Now I hear it every week,they are such pompous homers. I was still getting crap this week,I will continue to shut my trap and stay calm.If we win the SB I am going to go OFF big time!,lol

That's why you're Wade Phillips, That's why you don't win playoff games, challenging stuff like that." Once we won the challenge I gave him all sorts of crap for that.

I'm in Central PA... so I have the same thing... Mostly Eagles, Stealers, and Ravens fans with a smattering of 'Skins fans here and there.... It sucks...

But Saturday night definitely helps it go smoother... none of them (except the Stealer fans) can say anything, no recent super bowl victories to speak of and in some cases none at all...

I will give Stealer fans credit for one thing and one thing only... They are never nervous about a big game... Mostly because they really don't understand football, they always say "Oh, well we're gonna win..." or "they can't beat us, we're the Stealers..." I have yet to have a reasonably intelligent X's and O's conversation as to why they'll win though, it always "we're the Stealers... that's why"
