Pittsburgh has begun contacting teams to trade Ben Roethlisberger for a top 10 pick. At least one team considering it. Story far from done.

On a side note, it's amazing how life can change so abruptly . . . . one day a 2 time Super Bowl QB, the next day you're hated in your city, your team possbily wants to get rid of you, your reputation is shattered - on an international scale, etc.

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it - but wow, when things change, they can really change.

It would actually be a well accepted move in that city. He already would have a huge following, he and Jim Kelly are close and he's the type of QB Bills fans love.

I guess from Pittsburgh's perspective, they could package a potential Bill's 1st rounder along with their 1st rounder, and try and get Clausen (assuming they like him).

The question becomes...if they do indeed trade him does that mean they are automatically in the hunt for Clausen? Do they wait till the second or later round to get another QB or do they just stick with what they have on their roster.

Interesting to say the least and I don't see how the bills would not jump on that trade.
