i mean, i think both sides are to blame

Just like the Romo days, which this game reminded me of, but regardless of anything, always a good day when we beat the stealers.
I completely agree with this sentiment. Not surprising as this board is a microcosm of our society where everything/everyone moves to the far ends of the spectrum and cannot seem to find common ground. At the end of the day, Dak is probably not a top 5 QB, but he is definitely in that 6-10 category, and we should be happy to have that considering how hard it is to get a top 10 QB. His salary is not an issue, because there is no proof that it has prevented us from getting any player we want (just look at the available cap space in any given year that we roll over...not to mention the fact that the GM refuses to spend any of it in FA)....so, those crying about the money spent should save their energy because not your money and it hasn't negatively impacted your team. On the other side, the overly zealous Dak fans should revel in knowing that we have a top 10 QB (one we got in the 4th rd. at that). He is definitely capable of winning a SB if he can overcome some of the challenges that have plagued him in the past...including overcoming coaching and penalties. Dak fans should be happy and not constantly try to prove to others that Dak is great even when he has a bad game...as all QBs will have. Just my 2 cents which I'm sure will piss off more than enough on this forum.

This board has been dumbed down because of the haters. Period. Fact.

It's a shame because this is a very nice site.
Its gotten so bad that I stay away during games and after a loss for a few days, just because it gets so old hearing the haters non stop complaining. It just like having that one person at work that does nothing but complain. After a while, you just avoid them because they are a miserable person.

That really was a nice pass. Turpin had three defenders around him. Dak had to get it over the underneath defender, wide enough to not let the trailing defender catch up but not too wide or too long to allow the defender on the outside and over the top from making a play. Turpin also ran the route where it had to be, if he had carried it more upfield, then a defender could have undercut him.

How bout that pass to CeeDee on 3rd and 24 or whatever it was. That pass, Lamb high balling it, and keeping his toes down is about as good as it gets. The worst play of the game for me was the strip sack. Dak has to have better pocket awareness than that.

These forums traffic has always been driven as such. Remember on old forum they tried a Silver Lining thread but it was a ghost town.

These sites are driven by activity which drives the advertisement sponsors.Theres ample threads to navigate thru. No doubt some of the noisemakers are the loudest voice and become very annoying. And why Mods suggest to ignore those. It’s an excellent feature. I have several on it.

But these forums aren’t necessarily a venue to come and cheer about your team or favorite players. It’s more of a place to vent frustrations along with offering criticism and analysis of the game or events. And then discussing the various opinions and outlooks.

I enjoyed this win very much. More so than I can recall in years. Started a couple threads expressing so. And wins deter trolls which we have a few opposing fans here posing as Cowboy fans. Daks signing sent some trolls into hibernation.

We have to accept for a franchise with such glorious history this era hasn’t measured up which fuels the dialogue. Winning and success is only ingredient to dispel more negative rhetoric.

The interception at goal line before half was one of the worst I’ve seen In years. CD and Dak def not on same page. Just awful.

Nature of the beast. A lot of regulars of this forum are Gen-X/Boomer types that were spoiled by the old school Cowboys. Not many youngin's are using 25 year old internet forums anymore. Most of them play on YouTube or TikTok. That's how they educate themselves about football now. Unfortunately there is usually only narrow viewpoints (homer-heaven) on those platforms. At least here you get some open discussions and differing viewpoints.

Activity drives the advertisement which is lifeblood of the site.

I agree . It is a nice site and well managed with owner on hands serving as Administrator. Very tight controls Especially during the season.

But some Homers who defend to extremes with name calling and insults are as much of a hindrance as the trolls. Regular well intended fans fall victim of trolling threads as well.

Best way to limit trolls impact is to ignore. Mods have told us repeatedly.
