btw, I love the Raven's uniforms, esp. when they go all-black

it personifies their swarming, killer D

if the weather was like this last week in Pittsburgh, I firmly believe that Dallas rolls the Steelers. The weather definitely affected the way Tony was holding and passing the football.
I'm not going to say that the outcome would have been different, but I do agree that Romo would have performed better. The cold was visibly affecting him all game long. I still don't understand why he didn't prepare for the cold better by dressing more warmly. He didn't even try wearing long sleeves after the halftime. Bad decision on his part.

I agree

we still should have rolled them if we were just a little imaginative on offense

or if Tony sees a wide open Williams in the end zone....TO doesnt stop his route on the first INT, Tony doesnt force it to TO on the second INT, Witten doesnt slip on the 3rd INT, and if Witten is looking for that 4th down pass that went right by him.

Also, Tony didnt fumble, I dont care what they say. He was down. Big Ben didnt get within inches of the first down on that scramble, he was a good two yds away.

If Battle sees the ball on the ground and avoids it, we are already in FG range with a great chance to score a TD and make the score that much more lopsided. Instead it touches him...but we still force the punt...this time we are deep in our own territory and Tony throws that 2nd pick.

Finally, if our STs doesnt have a complete brain fart on that one return by Holmes....

NO.....they should have prepared for the cold by getting some high powered fans and turning them on inside the practice facility....cranking the A/C way down.....and pulling the practice balls out of a very cold refrigerator. By practicing all week with balls like this, they would have been prepared to snap, hand off, pass, catch, and run with those heavy, wet, cold footballs. They would have also been used to the windy conditions in the face or with their backs.

you can't throw the ball in that weather, period, no matter how warmly you dress for it, certainly not 30+ times if you hope to win against a stifling D, and esp. in a Jason Garrett, 10-15 yard route-running offense

I think that one day Holmes is gonna be a pretty good player, but man does he have horrible concentration.

Ok good, I was about to ask why the receiving team couldn't advance a muff.........Phil Simms is a idiot...and shot just shut his piehole and let us watch the game in peace.

so Ngata gets a penalty for throwing down Colon.....but nobody gets a penalty for completely assaulting PacMan last week.....Goodell's Zebras suck.

This game is driving me crazy. It's bad enough that the Steelers are getting all the breaks in a game they should be getting killed in without the refs slanting everything in their favor.

How sad it is to see ancient Derrick Mason produce and move the changes, while we cannot get the ball to our playmakers....

Any one else think our fragile team cannot handle the Ravens?

Ravens offense might not score many TDs against our D, but their Defense might against our O. Their returner might break a long one too.....
