So just what will the Cowboys bring with them to Heinz field tomorrow?

Fickled, fancied finesse? Or salivating, smash-mouth sass?

Their answer could determine their fate because a Steeler defense bristling with confidence and bravado plans on intimidating the Dallas offense into fatal mistakes and miscues.

Tomorrow is "hammer time", according to various Steeler players and as such, the script has already been written. The Cowboys need only read their assigned roles and acquiesce to the prepared plot line.

Nothing impromptu or improvisational. Nothing contradictory or confrontational. Know your role and don't deviate.

they sound like SHO-NUFF on "The Last Dragon"..."the shogun of harlem"...and the cowboys should just make sure to be at the designated place...at the designated time...and they will gladly designate their butts to dismemberment...too funny!

...got em fit for a toe tag and a meat wagon with no lights.

Wow-Wade Phillips gets ALOT of flack for installing this kind of mentality on his players.

Really-you saw it with Green Bay last week. One minute they were believing all their Super Bowl press clippings, the next they got pounded on their own turf by a fading Denver team.

Or how about McNabb's comments in TC how the Eagles were better than the rest of the NFCE teams, and how they should have beaten them last year? Look how's that turned out for them.

Edit: Personally, I prefer Keira Knightly over Jessica. :)

The way people talk about this defense, you'd think the Steelers were undefeated.

This isn't the super bowl and were not the Seahawks. No help from the refs this time.

The Steelers have only beat three teams over .500. They are the Pats without their QB, Washington (bottom feeders of the NFCE) and the Ravens which is probably the most respectable though I doubt they will do it twice.

There is a chance Pitt goes 1-3 in their last four games against Dallas, Ravens, Titans, and Browns.

Dude your post is spot on the mark. The Steelers aren't all that good, why they get so much hype is beyond me. Their O is very average at best with a TERRIBLE oline and Ben being one of the most sacked QB's in the league. They don't have much speed except for Holmes out wide. Their D is very good, by the numbers, they're the best but we have the best offense as far as I'm concerned. I don't see them moving the ball on our D but I do see us scoring on them. Our oline is BIG and STRONG and extremely capable with Romo sliding in the pocket creating plays downfield. Their secondary isn't that great either except for TP. I see our O exploiting them bigtime...

The best part of this week has been the crickets coming out of Valley Ranch.

Win or lose, it shows they finally have their minds right.

Nobody is saying anything about the fact that this is the most potent offense the Steelers will be facing even without Barber. the Steelers still have to concern themselves with Romo, Owens, R. Williams, Witten, Crayton, and now Bennett.

What happens when the high and mighty Steelers defense faces potent offenses?

Let us refer to history:

Week 8 vs Giants: L 14-21
Week 10 vs Colts: L 20-24

This same team also got beat by the Eagles, 6-15.

I see no reason why we cannot do the same or better.

Amen. I meant to make a whole thread about that.

There's been so much written about the almighty Steeler defense, it's almost gone unnoticed that there's been barely a peep out of Valley Ranch this week. I really think our guys have heard all the garbage we've heard about them being soft and finesse and warm-weather-only, and have been quietly steaming about it.

If Choice can hold up, I really think that town is in trouble today.
