Steelers vs Ravens game good adjustment.

Last night the Pittsburg Steelers were getting their heads handed to them by the Baltimore Ravens, in their own house. In fact, the Steelers' offense looked so bad toward the end of the first half, their fans booed them off the field.
Sound a little familiar. Pittsburg was doing their best to pound the ball down the Raven's throats. Nothing. They tried deep out routes. Nothing. Nothing the coaches sent in to QB Ben Roethlisberger seemed to work against the stingy Ravens' defense.

So, at halftime, big Ben went to his coaches & said, "Hey, nothing's working here. Why don't we go into the no-huddle shotgun & let me call the plays". The rest is history. The Steelers came storming back, and won the game in overtime. Instead of forcing deep balls to haughty prima-donna WRs who were double covered, or trying to pound the ball using a banged up Oline against superior opponents. They went with what worked, & they won the game.

The very same scenario could & should have happened in Dallas Sunday against the Commanders. Instead of putting in one of the most talented RBs in the NFL & getting him out on screens, or down the middle, where Washington was vulnerable all afternoon.

Watch the Steelers highlights & watch third string RBs take 5 yd. dinks and turn them into 50 yd. TDs. That's what we should have been doing, instead of trying to stroke the gigrotous ego of the biggest ME player in the game when you lose, and committing 1/3 of your offense to the jerk, only to have him throw the whole team under the freaking bus.

Come on, Garrett! If you want to run a team, you've go to show everyone who's boss, and do the things that win games, not kiss up to superstars. Felix Jones was needed in the worst way Sunday, Jason, and he was no where to be found. Hope you next move is a better one.

They scored one touchdown on offense after switching to the no huddle. The defense scored the other one... It wasn't that great of an idea.... But at least they stuck with the run game.

this post fills me with anger. I don't want to be like the steelers. Their offense is a joke waiting for a punchline. Ben gets sacked like no other. The Steelers will get destroyed on December 7th 2008.

How did the Steelers' offense do against the Eagles? How'd they do against the Browns? What do they have, two touchdowns in their past three games combined?

Yes, let's pattern ourselves after the Steelers' offense. Great idea.

Roethlisbledsoe is getting painful to watch. Steelers fans blame their line, but he has started to hold the ball way too long in the pocket.

The truth of the matter is.... the inexperience and carelessness of Flacco let the Steelers back into the game to eventually win it. Sans those careless fumbles by Flacco he did ok for his 4th game.

Bitter man aren't you?

I wish we played defense like the Ravens or Steelers. they play with so much confidence and our D looks like they're playing scared.

Dallas scored 1 TD in the first half and 2 TDs in the second half. Seems like adjustments were made.

You are right. They like to blame that line. They wanted to draft in OL but most were taken before their pick so they took Mendenhall. Ben just has a long windup and doesn't make quick decisions. He is not patient enough to dink and dunk and always tries to hit the home run.
