Ben Roethlisberger-QB- Steelers Mar. 18 - 5:44 pm et

Steelers President Art Rooney said he will wait for the completion of the most recent sexual assault investigation involving Ben Roethlisberger before he decides which action to take.

While Rooney is counting on "little bit of luxury of time." Though the criminal defense investigator hired by Roethlisberger's defense says he expects to have his investigation finished in "the next couple of weeks," Georgia police appear to be moving at a slower rate.

He should just pull a Tiger. Claim he has a sex addiction, got to rehab for a week and come out "cured".

I doubt it. I don't think the Steeler organization is as goody goody as they are made out to be. They have had their fair share of knuckledheads.

If Ben has another strike because of another sexual offense he would be in big trouble from the league and the law. What team wouldn't consider releasing him in that case? As is Ben could be facing a harsh penalty if this current accusation is proven true. If he had a new one pop up his career would be over. Heck, his free life would probably be over.

I can see Rooney taking action if he feels that a punishment from Goodell is inevitable. It would allow them to keep up that image without doing anything more than what the league would have done in the first place. Having said that, if Goodell does plan on taking action, then the Steelers will most certainly not.

Why do I feel that if it wasn't a celeb that there would already be an announcement of charges or no charges?

What Tiger did was not a criminal act what Ben is being accused of is.

Actually, Adultery is a second degree misdemeanor in Florida (I know it's different, I'm just sayin!) :p:
