I live in Pittsburgh and am a huge life long cowboys fans.

My random thougths on them

1. Refs girft wrapped 5 of the 6 superbowl wins they have.. Espically superbowl XL.

2. I Hate Them

3. By FAR the most annoying fans in the NFL.

4. I hate them

5. Hope this thing with Ben and this MCnalty chick derailed them on some level.

6. I hate them

7. I can not figure out why the media just brushes everything under the rug the players do? Ben and this crazy women from Nevada, Harrison hitting his wife, Jeff Reed getting arrested, Holmes with weed yet never gets suspended? Only thing I can come up with is the NFL wants to paint them as this hard working team... with a lovable ownership. So when they mess up it gets brushed under the rug.

9. Romo really handed them that game in Pittsburgh last year 4 turnovers.. Defense stood on there heads for much of the game.. If I was the HC I would have knocked Romo out after that game. He could have had that type of gamne vs any other team and I would not have cared but against the stealers... ughhhh:bang2:

10. I think I said I hate the steelers and would love to beat them in another superbowl..

Don't you think that a lot of the reason their little scandals get swept under the rug is because the local media there almost protects them? The national media isn't going to pick up on anything that the local media doesn't make a big deal about.

Contrast that with here, where the DFW media would love for anything negative to happen so they could be the first to tell the world about it.

Ed slobbers over the steelers and write FLUFF stories about them. I bet he picks Dan Rooney's morning paper up in the driveway in the morging and brings it to this font door.

As for Pitt not a favorite of mine but I give them their dues as I do any and all champs even if I don't like them that much.

The OP never said s/he doesn't give them their due. You can point out some suspicious calls that have gone in a team's favor and express your hatred for that team withhout it meaning you don't give them their due.

THe Steelers had a great team in the 70's, NOT as good as legend has it, but it was still great. BUT it is also clear that they have ALWAYS gotten the benefit of the calls always in the SB. Just how many calls have gone against them when it mattered in their 7 SB's?

It did not say suspicious calls it was said "Refs gift wrapped 5 of the 6 super bowls" come on that does not sound like giving them their dues it sounds like sour grapes.

I just find in interesting that the teams that most people talk about hating like the Pats, SF or the Steelers are franchises who have been great in their own right.

I guess I have always hated when other fans belittle our championship teams and I have taken an attitude for a long time that to the champ goes respect I don't have to like them but I should acknowledge a respect because I understand how hard it is to win championships.

Whether it was in the playoffs on the way to the Superbowl or in the Superbowl and it has happened so often that I no longer believe it was just a bad call or fifty. Say didn't the Rooney family make their money through organized crime and betting...just saying.

Can you deny it, though? Name one other team that has gotten numerous game-changing calls go in their favor on the biggest stage of all. It is what it is.

Steeler fans I hate tho I will admit I get exposed to them living in the area.

As for my comment on gift wrapping.. If that sounds like I am not giving them credit? I will say this.. go back and watch SB XL and to a lesser degree last season game... funny thing is I am not saying bad calls have never happened in the superbowl before but sure as hell is ODD when the steelers are playing they get all the calls in critial situations.... in superbowls.. then get back to me...

I don't blame you for hating Steeler fans while living in the heart of Steeler country. I don't need to get back to you on the SB games I have seen everyone since the AFL and NFL started playing them. I think they have had some questionable calls go their way and yes even a flat out blow call go their way I wish we did not have bad calls but I also know the Steelers played well in those games as well. By the way I was pulling against them in each SB game they played.
