Stefan Wisniewski graded between 2nd to UDFA

Some scouts have second-round grades on Penn State C-OG Stefen Wisniewski while others have graded him as a free agent. He worked at both guard and center at his pro day. The consensus is that he will fit into the fourth round, although teams in need of an interior lineman are considering him early.

I'd grab him in the 4th if lasts that long.

There is some youtube video of Wisniewski saying that teams are telling him that he will probably go in round 1 or 2. I saw him on TV just a couple of days ago, driving people off the ball and destroying some poor guy on the second level (in the endzone).

He's 6-3, 313. His weight is up, and he should play stronger. He could start day one for Dallas at center. He's smart. He has good athleticism for the position, and he is technically sound.

I really like him to start over Gurode right now.

Brandon Harris
Aaron Williams
Stefen Wisniewski
Danny Watkins

One of those should be there at 40 and perhaps 2 of them. Wisniewski is really the safest, best pick among the 4, and he plays the all important center position and can start at guard, too. He's a plug and play guy. He's another player that Garrett will value, imo.

I have no problem considering those two CB, but they have some question marks. Watkins is going to play at 27, and he doesn't have center experience. Gurode will play at 33 this year. Wisniewski will play at 22, and he is going to be a solid, safe plug and play player in the offensive line. Wes Bunting thinks that he can make some pro bowls.

I'd take Wisniewski at 40 over those other guys, but the Cowboys might not.

Wisniewski is the number 2 rated center, so he's not falling to round 4.

9. Tyron Smith OT USC

40. Aaron Williams CB Texas

71. Stefen Wisniewski C Penn State

I'd so love that :)

There is no way Wisniewski escapes round 2. He's too good of a player and has some upside. Plus, the teams on the back end of round 2 will jump all over him. Bears...ect....

I do know that Dallas had a scout there that day, because I saw him timing on the video.

Talk about boom or bust, a lot of risk in that draft.

Give me Danny Watkins over him any day and twice on Sunday.

Yes sir.

If he's still there at 40, I'd love for him to be the pick.

I know he doesn't look as great as Tyron with his shirt off but that dude is gonna be a nasty OG in the NFL. I feel the same way about him that I felt about Iupati last year.

I remember when some thought Herman Johnson wouldn't escape the 2nd round and that Dallas had scouts and Houck at his pro day so it was a lock. Dallas wasn't the only team to not draft him in the 2nd until Arizona took him in the 5th and released him after one season. Good times.

Our Pick in the early 3rd Round would be the place to nab him but I'm afraid he might go to someone in the 2nd Round.

give me a Draftee thats 22 anyday over one thats 26 and twice on Sundays. Now in saying that I think Danny Watkins will be better next season and could move right on in but his age 26 is a little old. When lineman get over 30 usually the injuries start. I just like someone 22 rather than 26 and the thing about Tyron Smith hes 20.......Whewwwwwwww !!!

If Watkins was 22, he'd be a first round pick, and a pretty high one.

But he's not. He'll be 27 in November, which means you are very likely to get 1 contract out of him. I wouldn't touch him at #40, 3rd round maybe, but the 4th round would be about right.

I'd take Wisniewski over him any day. He's got a pedigree, he's real smart, and he's tough.

Why would you only get one contract out of him? You want to cut him at 30? Probably half the offensive linemen that make the pro bowl every year are 29+, especially the guards.

Wisniewski will be a fine pro, he needs good coaching and a year in the weight room, Penn St was had a huge problem in recent years with O-line coaching and weight training.
