Stefon Diggs to the Pats

Surprised so many of you still look at AAV only.

That deal is most likely 2/26.

Fair for him, slightly high maybe but not outrageous.
Yep, when there's such a gulf in AAV and Guaranteed. Diggs gets the bragging rights of getting a media contract he's never going to see.

I can’t believe a 30+ year old receiver coming off an ACL got that much.

I haven’t read the details of the contract but on paper that’s ridiculous.
Another way to look at it is Diggs game relies more running crisp routes and physically beating someone. That can age well. He wont be as good as in Buffalo, but if Maye keeps progessing Diggs should still be good for 75 to 80 for about 1000. Thats not bad production for 23 million these days

That’s a tall task to ask for a guy his age and coming off his injury. The move is weird though because you have to ashamed the first year will be about knocking rust off so his stats will suffer for it. I wonder was there a market for him at this price or did they have to pay a little more to get him to come there.

I think it is dishonest for him and his brother to push the narrative they want to play together. They should be saying we would love to play together if we are getting PAID.

everyone should be happy we dodged that bullet....talk about a risky bloated contract, for a attitude and a bad knee - yuck

I think the clause is a given with NFL players. It's business first.
